Who are we ?

This website, as you may already know, is a non-profit community. This means that it is a community – that you can join – that takes care of the research of informations, writing and so on.

All this with another objective than making profit, that of sharing, making knowledges and giving the desire to the greatest number of people to be interested in our common passion which is the field of the armament.

We are all volunteers, amateurs or professionals, French speakers or not.

The director of this project is Chanou Hugo, but you can visit our discord server to wave all the team behind this project :

Our name is from our discord server Land Air Sea Defense previusly named (old website here).

Just below you can see with who we works, many thanks to them !

VDV Faction Squad Mod

The VDV Desant project is a modded sub-faction for the game ‘Squad’, aiming to bring the renowned Russian Airborne Forces to the game. Focusing on providing and expanding the already existing vanilla faction of the Russian Ground Forces, VDV Desant is developing new vehicles, equipment, animations and game mechanics to Squad with the hopeful end goal of being made into an official part of Squad.

We are partnering with LASD to make use of their expansive archive of references and to potentially help spread the word of our project to a wider community. If you would like to check out the project or get directly updated with news from the source with updates about development or similar, you are more than welcome to come and join the public Discord server at:

Additionally, if you would like to help out with the project, we are always accepting potential new members that are interested in helping development. You can apply for a spot on the team in the channel named #apply-here or use this link once you have joined the server:

Japanese Ground Self Defense Force Squad Mod

Hello, we are the JGSDF MOD Team and aim to create the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force as a playable Faction for Squad. Even though we are a relatively new mod, we’re glad that our team already has some very talented people helping from the Squad Modding Community! We do not have any ETA on the mod yet and our main goal is to make a balanced yet fun faction while also having fun and learning while we create this faction. If you want to know more about this project or if you want to actively support and help us, please come around to our Discord :

This blog was created with the intention of clarifying common misconceptions and mistakes, as well as to discuss the qualities of Russian armoured fighting vehicles in minute detail. Each article is intended to be a comprehensive overview for each vehicle in technical terms and how they affect the performance of the vehicles in practice, i.e their combat capabilities. Each article begins with an introduction that consists of a brief but densely packed summary of the history of each fighting vehicle, but the contents of the articles are dedicated entirely to a technological review. We try to make sure that the information used is absolutely reliable, but there will always be some mistakes hidden away somewhere in each article.

Global Assault Organization

Over the last decade, mil-sim and shooter games have become increasingly parallel to simple cash grabs focused on profit rather than gameplay. Games are littered with DLCs, bugs, and unrealistic physics. It’s time to put a stop to this. GAO is a cross-platform, open-world, third & first-person shooter currently available PC and Linux. The game is being developed to be one of, if not the most, realistic shooters available, living up to some of the best milsim games. The point of GAO is to display the horrors of conflict, while delivering a fun game. GAO will not censor war, and will show the before, during, and after-effects of modern conflict. The game follows a conflict between the United Nations and the fictional URS, fighting over territory on the island of Lopos, a large island located in the Persian Gulf.

Gunner, HEAT, PC!

The tank game you’ve been waiting for.
It’s a weird time for fans of modern tank combat games. The straight-shooting simulator titles from the turn of the millennium are no more. As tank nerds, we need a game that gets right to the good stuff – modern tanks, realistic system and damage models, and a focus on fun over all.

With Gunner, HEAT, PC! we aim to make that dream a reality.

GHPC will blend game and simulation in just the right amounts, providing awesome fire control and ballistics simulation behind deceptively simple controls. This core feature set serves as the foundation for a rich single player campaign mode, skirmish missions, and cooperative multiplayer modes: a satisfying option for every taste. And let’s not forget about infantry and support units – tanks weren’t built to fight alone. AI-controlled combined arms forces will round out the tactical environment and let armored units shine the way they were meant to.

We’re making a great tank game because that’s what we want to play.
